With reference to War Office letter No.027/1186 (M.1.2) and to admiralty letter No.M.01491/35 of the 15th February and the 23rd February respectively, regarding

certain Japanese commercial projects in Macoa and Canton (Foreign Office reference F.590/727/10), I am commanded by

the Air Council to acquaint you, for the information of

Secretary Sir John Simon, that they are in agreement with

the views expressed by Their Lord chips and by the army

Council.

Copies of this letter are being sent to the

Admiralty, War Office and Colonial office.
